The excitement generated from Lowrider’s new album ‘Round The World’ has rocketed ticket sales for their national tour through the roof, after selling out Melbourne’s renowned Corner Hotel on Saturday night and their hometown show at HQ, Adelaide.
Tickets are still available, but selling fast, for shows at the Annandale in Sydney on August 13th and at The Zoo in Brisbane on August 21st.
After a whirlwind tour playing packed venues around the country, Lowrider returned home to play a gig at the Governor Hindmarsh, which sold out before the doors even opened! Hundreds of fans who didn’t prebook had to go home empty handed as Lowrider rocked a 700+ strong crowd.
Special guest DJ Reflux warmed up the crowd, returning to the stage for a battle with MrCee to begin the catchy track ‘What are you looking for’. He again joined Lowrider for the Triple J hit song BeBad, where the energised crowd jumped in the air in unison like a stormy sea. The unique double stage performance by Lowrider was a gripping gift to their hometown of Adelaide, and will be remembered by many for a long time to come. Lowrider can’t wait to play in Adelaide next time round – why not try and book out the Entertainment Centre?!
